WU DANG SAN FENG ACADEMY OPENS AUGUST 2010

The Wu Dang San Feng Academy in Wu Dang Mountains, China is opening to students mid-August 2010 and accepting students for study programs ranging in length from one month to two years in traditional Wu Dang Internal Martial Arts, Alchemy Practices, and Ceremonial Traditions. The Academy is a joint effort of Chi for Longevity, Inc. and Master Zhong

PROGRAMS OF STUDY:

The Programs range from beginner to Instructor level training and are provided in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Details for each of the following programs are attached.

-       Wu Dang Internal Kung Fu
-       Wu Dang Tai Chi
-       Wu Dang Qi Gong
-       Wu Dang Alchemy and Nourishing Life
-       Wu Dang Mystical Arts
-       Group Training at the Wu Dang Wu Shu Academy – which is currently training a Wu Shu Competition and Touring Team  

PROGRAM TUITION:

All tuition includes instruction, room, and board. Room accommodations are air conditioned and heated. Travel expenses and required classroom supplies are excluded.

-       One month to six months:
o       $1,500 per month double occupancy
o       $2,000 per month single occupancy
-       Six months to one year:
o       $1,300 per month double occupancy
o       $1,800 per month single occupancy
-       Group Rates for 1 to 7 days, which includes training at the Wu Dang Wu Shu Academy:
o       $100 per day per person double occupancy for one to seven days
-       Optional Additional Services:
o       Special healing diet:                                               $300 per month
o       Yi Jing (I Ching) Reading from Master Zhong:     $200 per reading
o       Private classes:                                                       $150 per hour

WU DANG SAN FENG ACADEMY PROGRAMS OF STUDY

Wu Dang Internal Kung Fu Instructor Program Prepares the student to become an instructor in traditional Wu Dang Kung Fu Arts. A Teacher Certificate will be given upon completion of this minimum one year program. The student will learn:

a)      Kung Fu and martial arts theory and practice foundations
b)      All styles of form and weapons such as broad sword, sword, staff, nine sectional whip, horsetail whip
c)      Kick boxing and applications for self defense

Wu Dang Tai Chi Program
This program includes the original forms developed by Zhang Sanfeng and second generation forms developed at Wu Dang. Students may attend a minimum one month course of study of Wu Dang Tai Chi. Forms available for study include: a) Sanfeng Tai Chi 13 postures – the original Zhang Sanfeng Tai Chi form b) Wu Dang Tai Chi 108 movements – the first generation derivation from the Tai Chi 13 forms c) Wu Dang Tai Chi 28 and 52 movements d) Sanfeng Tai Chi Sword
e) Push hands
f) Tai Chi applications, theory, philosophy, and history

Wu Dang Qi Gong Program (Instructor and Participant levels available) This program focuses on Qi Gong forms, the healing benefits of each movement and form, as well as how to teach Qi Gong. Students may attend for one month minimum course of study. Instructor certification requires six months to one year of study. Included are: a) Ten styles of Qi Gong forms, including theory and teaching methods b) Dao Yin, an ancient way of fitness which incorporates stretching, movement and self- massage

Wu Dang Internal Alchemy and Nourishing Life Program This program incorporates meditation, cultivation, and self-healing through nutrition and physical practice, and is available for minimum one-month course of study. a) Internal Alchemy theory and practice b) Wu Dang herbal healing diet
c) Wu Dang herbal healing wines

Wu Dang Mystical Arts Program
This program provides a foundation in the traditional Taoist mystical arts. The student is invited to spend a minimum of one-month study. Included in this program study are: a) Yi Jing (I Ching)
b) Feng Shui
c) Facial Reading

SAN FENG FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP

The mission of the San Feng Friendship Association is to unite people across the world to promote peace and health through Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Alchemy practice. We invite you to join this organization to further its cause of peace and health through these practices. The San Feng Friendship Association is headquartered in the Wu Dang Mountains, China. Association Membership of $100 per year provides you the following benefits:
