Hello To All,

My family and I recently secured a retreat property in the Rocky Mountains of Golden, Colorado. The lofty residence is secluded in a gorgeous pine forest, containing soft native grasses and views that inspire the spirit. It is a magnificent location that fosters energetic nurturing. Calling it the "Tao Vision House," we are opening our home to the community for use throughout the year. We invite you to make use of the "Tao House" when setting and accomplishing your life goals. We are here to provide community, ideas and support. Most importantly, we are here to nourish belief in all of us to make our selves and thus, the world a better place.

In support of community, we now offer a variety of three day weekend retreats, (http://www.wudangtao.com/announcements/index19threedays2010.html) weeklong intensives and self designed weekend retreats. The first upcoming weeklong workshop is the "Awaken the Master Within," June 12-19. (http://www.wudangtao.com/announcements/index14MasterWithin.html) If you have not already taken this workshop, or have taken it but need some refreshing, the "Master Within" week is essential for setting you along the path of mastering inner self and allowing you to master internal alchemy.

We invite you to be creative in designing a weekend that meets your needs. For example, you could arrive on a Thursday evening in time to meet, greet and eat a cleansing meal. Then settle into a warm herbal bath and wrap up your day of travel with a restorative guided meditation before bed. Rise first thing in the morning and escape to the expansive decks to breathe in fresh mountain air and center yourself in an hour long Qi Gong class before practicing Taiji to move energy in your body. Next, you will be off to a simple, nutritious and healing breakfast of whole fruits and authentic congee. Following breakfast energize with a private 2 hour session of your choice with Master Chen. Absorb what you have learned and then enjoy a healing lunch of herbal soup to increase kidney Qi and purify blood. For the afternoon you may choose a nap, nature hike, lecture, herbal soak or massage. This restorative afternoon could be followed by a delightful herbal supper, Taiji or Qi Gong and a guided moonlight meditation on the mountainside bringing you closer to clarity. Be creative design your nurturing and restorative weekend getaway.
